After growing up in South Western Australia and being involved in the arts from a young age, Steven moved to Perth to attend the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Here, he completed the Props and Scenery AdvDip. Soon after graduation and fresh into his new creative home at Hale School in the western suburbs of Perth, he soon found that his passion for creativity was not to be confined to his training. Many and varied opportunities presented themselves exploring all elements of design and construction across a range of events from studio theatre to major musicals, formal ceremonies to grand balls, and music recitals to concerts. His creativity and skills flourished and grew. Realising his passion for design, Steven has pursued his love for both set and costume, design and construction, with freelance work opening up an array of opportunities and to broaden his horizons by working with new creatives on exciting projects.

 

​Steven isn't just confined to the design and construction aspects of the arts, and has a strong love for musical theatre where he has been working on professional touring musicals across Australia in recent years. With endless possibilities and ways in which to utilise his skills, Steven is looking forward to whats next in his excelling career.
